All tickets are for round-trip fares and are valid up to 90 days from purchase. Fares differ in price depending on which island you are getting off at. Please see detailed fares in the tables below.

Inter-Island Tickets & Fares
Walk-on passengers ride free between the islands. Fares are collected only for Lopez Island to Shaw Island, Lopez Island to Orcas Island, Lopez Island to Friday Harbor, Shaw Island to Orcas Island, Shaw Island to Friday Harbor and Orcas Island to Friday Harbor. The same trips in the other direction are free.

No fare is collected on the way back to Anacortes from Lopez Island, Shaw Island, Orcas Island or Friday Harbor.

Do you need reservations for the Anacortes Ferry?
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended if you are traveling with a vehicle. Vehicle reservations are available on this route, and standby space on each sailing is limited. Walk-on passengers and bicyclists do not need a reservation.
Do you pay both ways on the Anacortes Ferry?
No. Fares are collected only at Anacortes, on trips heading west, and trips back to Anacortes are free. Between the islands, walk-on passengers ride free and vehicles pay only on some trips: Lopez Island to Shaw Island has a vehicle fare, but Shaw Island to Lopez Island does not.
